One sequence. Every artist in the collective contributed one frame, drawn in their own style, without instruction on how it should look. No shared aesthetic, no visual brief, no uniformity imposed from above.
The result is a shot that changes with every frame. Different line weights, different palettes, different ways of understanding the same body in the same moment. What holds it together is the movement, not the style. The action stays continuous while the visual language underneath it keeps shifting.
It could have been a simple transition between two scenes. Instead it became the most honest thing in the film: proof that the collective isn't a concept, it's a practice. Every artist brought their own obsessions to the same four seconds of screen time.
That's what the collective actually is: not a shared aesthetic, but a shared willingness to work inside the same frame. The Jump made that visible in 24 frames per second.

Border Hopper is a short film directed by Nico Casavecchia, co-produced by Brut Works. It follows Laura, a Latinx filmmaker who discovers a supernatural way to navigate the U.S. immigration system. The film operates as a satire of bureaucracy, combining magic realism with elements of horror.
Brut Works developed and produced the entire animated universe of the film. The project was selected at Sundance and Palm Springs ShortFest, among others.

Before the planes took off, United announced each new destination one by one. As routes to Southeast Asia were revealed, Brut Works partnered with Brand New School to bring the campaign to life.
The brief was to capture the spirit of each destination: the tempo of Ho Chi Minh City, the landscapes of Thailand, the atmosphere of Adelaide. Not a map with pins, but a visual journey through movement and color. Each location translated into its own rhythm, its own palette, its own moment.
The visual language was built around a consistent graphic element: spheres that move through each environment, linking destinations into a single continuous piece. The same object, different worlds. Compositions were designed to feel specific to each place without relying on cliché: the right pace, the right palette, the moment where illustration and animation find each other.
The result moves as fluidly as the flights it was announcing, from one destination to the next without losing momentum.

When I Sing is a self-initiated short film conceived and directed by Malota, produced by Brut Works. It starts from something personal: the way singing can lift you out of a state of mind and take you somewhere else entirely.
The film follows that experience frame by frame. A single character, facing the camera, moving through the emotional arc of a singer: the vulnerability of exposing your voice, the resistance, and what happens when you finally stop holding back.
The film works through tension rather than explanation. The character doesn't perform for the viewer: she endures, resists, and eventually surrenders to the music. The drawing style is deliberately spare, just enough to carry the emotion. The less it explains, the more the viewer recognises.
Made with traditional frame by frame animation and original voices and instruments recorded for the piece. Selected at Animac and Anima festivals.

QuikTrip is one of the largest convenience store and fuel chains in the United States. QT Pay is their in-app payment feature: link your bank account, save on every gallon, save in store. The brief was to launch the feature with a piece that felt energetic, clear, and on brand.
Directed by Andres Rivera, who has led QuikTrip's previous campaigns, the piece combines cel animation and motion graphics into a single visual language. Sharp character design, expressive movement, and transitions calibrated to keep the pace moving from start to finish.

Alba Prado is a Spanish artist and director with a background in fine arts. Her work starts from the everyday: small details, the ordinary moment, the thing you almost miss. Through colour, plasticity, and abstraction she finds the expressiveness in it.
Fun, honest, and occasionally surreal. Her work has a way of getting to people without trying to.

Momoguro is an original IP developed by Brut Works' ECD Martin Allais and director Nico Casavecchia, in collaboration with Baobab Studios. A game franchise built around a world of characters: strange, expressive, and designed to expand.
Baobab Studios commissioned Brut Works to produce the teaser that would introduce the franchise. The piece was directed by Nico Casavecchia, with Bonkers Animation as production partner. The objective was to give audiences a first glimpse of the Momoguro world: its atmosphere, its characters, and the logic of the universe they inhabit.

Ten years in, Bounty Banana decided to mark the anniversary not with a retrospective but with a film. inTENsity is a portrait of a decade: their creative life, the people around them, the Paris they work in. Not a highlights reel. An atmosphere.
The title comes from a scene in Lost in Translation where a commercial director keeps asking Bill Murray for more intensity. For Bounty Banana, that word captures something real about how they work and who they are. It also became the brief: a film that had to feel like them, at full charge.
The occasion was also the unveiling of a redesigned B/B logo. But a logo alone was not enough. It needed, as they put it, more inTENsity.
