One sequence. Every artist in the collective contributed one frame, drawn in their own style, without instruction on how it should look. No shared aesthetic, no visual brief, no uniformity imposed from above.
The result is a shot that changes with every frame. Different line weights, different palettes, different ways of understanding the same body in the same moment. What holds it together is the movement, not the style. The action stays continuous while the visual language underneath it keeps shifting.
It could have been a simple transition between two scenes. Instead it became the most honest thing in the film: proof that the collective isn't a concept, it's a practice. Every artist brought their own obsessions to the same four seconds of screen time.
That's what the collective actually is: not a shared aesthetic, but a shared willingness to work inside the same frame. The Jump made that visible in 24 frames per second.

Border Hopper is a short film that blends live action and animation to tell the story of Laura, a Latinx filmmaker who discovers a supernatural way to navigate the U.S. immigration system as if it were a video game. The film operates as a satire of immigration bureaucracy, combining magic realism with elements of horror. We were responsible for developing and producing the entire animated universe of the film.
The main challenge was translating the abstract and frustrating experience of the immigration system into a strong visual language that could coexist seamlessly with live action. The animation needed to amplify the protagonist’s internal conflict while functioning as a metaphor for the bureaucratic process itself.
The project was selected at major international festivals, including Sundance and Palm Springs ShortFest, among others.

Before the planes took off, the dots began to drop—new destinations revealed like clues on a map. As fans of United followed each announcement, speculating online and celebrating each route, we partnered with Brand New School to bring the story to life.
At Brut, we crafted a short film capturing the spirit of each new destination across Southeast Asia. From the tempo of Ho Chi Minh City, to the atmosphere of Adelaide, and the landscapes of Thailand, we translated each location into movement and color. Elegant compositions, thoughtful transitions, and a pace designed to echo the rhythm of each city.
The result is a visual journey that moves as quickly and seamlessly as the flights themselves.

Alba Prado is a Spanish artist and director trained in fine arts and interested in the everyday, small details and expressiveness through plasticity and abstraction. Fun, honesty, surrealism and color are attributes of her personal work. She loves to tell stories with new graphic languages according to the project and almost always soften hearts.

Momoguro is the latest project created by our ECD Martin Allais &amp; Nico Casavecchia. They been working over the past year and a half in this IP alongside with Baobab Studios. They commissioned us to create this teaser for the whole franchise that first will become an NFT game, then a Roblox world and many more things in the not so long distant future. We have the feeling that you’ll hear about Momoguro a lot and were happy to be part of it.

Momoguro

inTENsity is the 10 year anniversary film of directing duo Bounty Banana, an offbeat portrait of their creative life, the Paris they inhabit, and the energy that has defined their journey. Conceived and directed by them, the film blends live action, stop motion, motion graphics, and cel animation into a vibrant snapshot of a decade of collaboration and experimentation.
Brut joined the project as co producer, taking the lead on the majority of the animated sequences. The brief was not simply to decorate the film, but to amplify its core idea: inTENsity as a state of mind, a creative pulse, a visual and emotional charge.
To achieve this, we activated our roster of directors, assigning each animated sequence to a different creative voice within the studio. This distributed approach allowed every intervention to carry its own identity while contributing to a cohesive whole. From bold graphic explorations to surreal character driven moments, each scene pushed the boundaries of tone and texture, creating what Bounty Banana described as “visual WTF” around their on screen presence.
